Dear colleagues and friends.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Interlegal Consulting Lawyers & Solicitors and affiliated practices. I would like to acknowledge each and every individual who contributed to the creation of this prestigious international law firm, for their help every step of the way and the precious time and belief that they dedicated to this project. As the vice-president of Interlegal Consulting Lawyers & Solicitors and affiliated practices, I would like to extend my humble thanks to those who have made this outstanding company dream come true and who share in this great achievement. In particular, to the founding partners, who have supported each other both in mind and heart, and who believed the impossible could be made possible.

From the creation of Trujillo & Garzon Abogados in 1985, my predecessors built a great reputation by committing themselves to working with a group of highly-skilled lawyers offering only the highest level of services to the general public ¾ a full service corporate law firm offering international legal services in conjunction with the best lawyers from around the world. In its 25 years, one of the unique and wonderful attributes of this international law firm has been to achieve recognition for commitment to our clients’ needs ¾ a success that has been achieved through the opening of new offices around the world; Spain being the main office, and Italy, UK and Colombia being its affiliated practices. This has helped us in building on our achievements by working with the most professional lawyers and solicitors around the world, with the highest standards of ethics.

Interlegal Consulting Lawyers & Solicitors and affiliated practices enjoyed one of its most productive and successful period between 2002-2007, and with each year we grew (and continue to grow) stronger than ever before. However, the global economic crisis hit the legal profession hard, especially in (among others) international transactions, such as mergers, the acquisition of properties, international business law, banking & finance, immigration law, and investments on a national and international level. Expanding Interlegal Consulting Lawyers & Solicitors to different continents was the only way to fight this unprecedented global crisis and to ensure that we came out the other side a stronger and healthier law firm. Fighting with different economies and currencies, budgetary discipline became a priority so as to find ways to reduce the divergences in competitiveness in the legal world. This time of unprecedented expansion created new opportunities, relationships, challenges and alliances and we were able to promote ourselves and gain new and more diverse clientele.

I would like to invite all professionals in this field, or a similar field, who were affected by the crisis (for example, through redundancy) to join us and become a part of, and add to, the achievements of an international law firm with a more traditional approach that focuses on three things: success, admiration and greatness.

I am proud to be a part of such an outstanding group of dedicated professionals and look forward to welcoming you to our group.
