Accomplishments

Bachelor of Law in 1999 when he graduated the Bucharest University - Law Faculty. From 2000 to 2001 George attended postgraduate courses of private law within University of Bucharest – Faculty of Law. From 2003 to 2004 George attended postgraduate courses related to the European Unionlegal framework with focus on the European Union law and institutions within University of Bucharest – Faculty of Law.

Professional Experience

Managing Partner of Soare & Lawyers and a member in good standing of the Bucharest Bar since 2001. Prior to the establishment of Soare & Lawyers back in 2008, George has acted as associate lawyer with several Romanian top business law firms, such as Musat & Associates (1999 -2000), Bostina & Associates (2000 – 2002), Vitzman, Webster & Partners in cooperation with Studio Legale Sutti (2002 - 2005), Voicu & Filipescu in affiliation with Squire, Sanders & Dempsey L.L.P. (2005 - 2007), Schindhelm & Associates (2007 - 2008).
George has acted as in-house lawyer for a Bucharest-based private medium sized bank back in 2001. George has been engaged in pro-bono activities to the benefit of several non-for-profit community groups, such as foundations and associations. George is a reputable litigator handling all types of corporate, business, real estate, financial and banking, capital market, consumer protection, intellectual property and employment disputes for a wide range of domestic or foreign clients. His competencies cover all-level Romanian courts (including the High Court of Cassation and Justice and the Constitutional Court), arbitral institutions and other public jurisdictional authorities (such as the Romanian State Office for Inventions and Trademarks or the Romanian Competition Council).
